DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS, THE SUMMER SCHOOL IS POSTPONED.
Summer School 2020:
Gone with the flow
July 19-23, 2020
The goal of the summer school is to expose early career mathematicians, mainly graduate students and postdoctoral fellows, to applications of topology to the area of dynamical systems.
We will focus on smooth flows on low dimensional manifolds, mainly in dimension 2 and 3.
The mini-courses are aimed to show different aspects of applications of topology: templates and knot theory, vorticity and topological hydrodynamics, applications to mathematical physics.
The school is open to international students and researchers.
The mini-courses will be given by:
- Philip Boyland, University of Florida
- Sergio Fenley, Florida State University
- Daniel Peralta-Salas, Instituto de Ciencias Matemáticas
- Michael Sullivan, Southern Illinois University
Organizing committee: Tali Pinsky (Technion), Pierre Dehornoy (Institute Fourier-Université Grenoble Alpes)
